XPV stands for Xtreme Performance vehicle and this radio controlled car is certainly living up to its name. Bringing the pain to all terrain, the Super Terranator is a remote control vehicle for any season, as it performs equally over land, water, mud, and snow. It also has some impressive numbers: two engines, 4-wheel drive, 12 volts of juice, up to 15mph, and working range of 150 feet. The ability to conquer almost any terrain, means the Terranator is actually five vehicles in one. With huge, knobby tires and a unique water skimming hull, this RC is a street car, dragster, snowmobile, 4×4, and swamp buggy combined into one awesome vehicle. The bold orange and black color and a design influenced by real stealth planes give the car an appearance appropriately matching its fierce capabilities. The XPV Super Terranator comes ready to play with a rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery, a full function two-channel controller, and one 9v battery for the controller.

My 5 year old received this as a gift this year. On Christmas Day, we were outside and he was running this car up and down the street, over the snowbanks, flipping it, and having great fun. It was very surprising to see the poor reviews. We have only run it three times now, but the charge outlasted our tolerance to the cold (15 minutes) each time! And it is durable – he has flipped it over numerous times, run it through puddles, and boy does it fly! My husband got in trouble with it on Christmas day, trying to use it in the house – it is definitely NOT an indoor toy! I highly recommend it.
We have 2 of these the green and orange. They both will run for about 15 minutes or just enough time to terrorize the dog , run into the car and fling gravel all over the place . They are fast and you better aim them toward hard objects or things will be destroyed( not the car but things like ankles). I actually bought 2 more for backups and spare parts. I have not had anything go wrong with these.
