I chose to give this toy to my 12 year old son, even though it states on the package that it is for ages 14 +. As soon as it arrived, he tore into it, with a little of my help we tweaked the trim a little, which by the way was soooo simple. He took it outside and off it went into the air. Boy, this little toy can climb. The battery inside the helicopter last for about ten minutes of flight, and recharges in less than thirty minutes. Of course my young one crashed several times before getting used to the controls, and I’ll tell that this toy can take some pounding. It’s best to wait until the wind is calm before trying to fly it outside. It’s so light that even a gust can make it go wherever the wind blows it, but it’s a lot of fun indoors too. The only reason I did not give this toy a five star rating is because of the battery cover on the radio control. My son complained that with the slightest touch it comes off. Which I think is not good because it keeps hitting the floor when it falls off, and sooner or later someone will step on it, then the batteries will always be exposed (too many children in the house). But overall a fun toy.
I have just received this awesome helicopter, i am a first time heli flyer and i just love this product. i am amazed at the power because i live above sea level so i was expecting a helicopter that used all of its power trying to lift itself into the air, but not this. this heli has two 120 size brushless stainless steel motors, top rotor stabilizer, and a “bullet proof” body, i would recommend this heli to anyone!
