Hot Wheels introduces its latest innovation in radio control. Featuring a “biomechanical” design, the N.S.E.C.T. robot scurries with amazing speed and then transforms from “bio-bug” to “bio-missle” blaster in seconds! Two shooting modes allow the N.S.E.C.T. single or rapid fire, up to an alarming distance of 25 feet. It also has working claws for capturing things, and laser-like eyes that change color when it’s in attack or explore mode.
The N.S.E.C.T. Robot requires one 7.2V battery and charger, plus one 9V battery for the transmitter, all included. 49 MHz. Measures 15″ long.

I had never heard of this toy before (Nsect). I just happened to be walking through a store the day after Thnaksgiving and there it was. I wasn’t really sure what it was, but my 11 year old son had not asked for any toys for chrismas, only practical stuff, so I thought why not. I took it home, wrapped it up and he opened it Christmas day. He charged the batteries right away and as soon as it was ready he was using it. It turns out to by way better than any remote control car we’ve ever had and it is so much fun that we have since bought 2 more for 2 of his 3 brothers. We love this bug
Bought this for my son for Christmas. It was the top thing on his list. His best friend received one as well. They thought they could wage war against eachother. My son’s rocket launcher broke within 2 weeks. Not from over use. Without the rocket launcher he lost interest. Acutally, he lost interest earlier. After the initial excitement is over there is not much you can do with this toy. Also, it is BIG, takes up storage room and is noisy.
This is a fun toy. I bought it for my 6 year old. It does quite a few things and keeps him entertained. The downfall is the battery pack doesn’t last that long otherwise it’s worth buying
