A beautiful family tradition has begun
We received the Elf On The Shelf 3 days ago and my children LOVE it!! Every morning they race down stairs to see who will find him first. This morning my 3 year old daughter spotted him before her big brother and sister, and the joy on her face was PRICELESS! The kids were already talking about his next hiding spot.
I don’t know which is more fun- my kids searching for him -or- my husband and I finding fun places to hide him. Not to mention, the kids are being more mindful of their behavior now that they know Santa’s helper is watching!! This is a great product and a great holiday tradition to begin

I received this at the book expo in CA. This is one of my favorite things from this trip. The book is a lot of fun and I love how it encourages your kids to be nice. The first year I was not really good about moving the elf every day, but our little one was only 2 also, so he didn’t notice. We also combined this with our advent calendar saying that the elf was bringing back each little gift from Santa each day.
Never lose a child’s heart
Wanted a fair skin, blue eyed elf for my blonde, blue eyed grandchildren which is hard to find. This elf is perfect and very well constructed. The book that accompies it is educational and adds the sense of reality for the non-believer! Pricing for the elf is the best I found in my 2 years of searching for it. My daughter puts it up the day after Thanksgiving and moves it every day. The children look for it first thing every morning and it adds to a positive and joyful discipline experience. They “know” they are being watched by Santa’s elf and never know where the elf will show up. It is absolutely a family tradition that maintains a child’s heart. I hope they never lose it
