Great toy
Kids love it, automatically shuts off, throw away the CD that comes with it..some narrative from an Apollo mission. Dont believe the bs that it is about the moon.

I purchased this for my 7 yr old daughter who loves sitting on the back porch gazing at the night sky.
Moon in My Room
I, uh, am actually 17 years of age and bought this for myself and one for my girlfriend. I have had it since last Christmas and haven’t replaced the batteries or had problems with the lights; granted, I don’t use it often because I… don’t exactly need a night light. I just thought it would be a cool addition to our rooms. Maybe you should keep the remote away from your kids– I know that’s the point of the toy, but likely if they’re switching it on and off it’s going to run out a lot faster than normal. Like I said, mine still works and it sits on the “ON” position. I don’t have any problems with it turning itself on and off, exhausting battery power, either.
I also read some comments complaining that the moon isn’t realistic. It looks pretty close to what’s outside my window me, just a little more detailed. It’s, uh, awesome… bluntly put.
