The Baja 5T was inspired by the latest generation of desert trucks that compete in the world famous Baja 1000 race in Mexico. The body was built for a perfect fit on the Baja 5T chassis, with sculpted fenders, scoops, louvers, and an integrated roll cage for authentic desert-tough looks. In true HPI RTR form, the body is completely ready to go right out the box… painted in your choice of black or white, mounted, pre-applied racing decals and tinted windows. Factor in the front skid plate bumper, Desert Buster tires mounted on Outlaw truck wheels with real bead locks, and you’ve got a truck that looks like it just rolled off the starting line in Ensenada.

Keeping the body securely attached is a body mounting system with tough nylon construction, 8 mounting points to distribute the stress on the body, and fully adjustable for compatibility. A front skid plate bumper protects the truck on big jumps, with 4 headlights for realistic desert truck looks. A molded nylon rear spoiler is included for off-road stability, with an integrated rear body brace for extra strength. The sides of the truck are protected by guards that deflect dirt and debris away from the chassis. The engine also receives dirt guards on both sides for extra protection.

Great remote control car

Really great toy!! The operation is a little tricky as it has a number of controls that are hard for a child to understand. Other than that, lots of fun! Goes through the grass, up hills and anywhere you want to go

I bought this for my 14 year old boy and he loved it, but the only thing is that he wont borrow it to me because he uses it as soon he wokes up! Awesome toy and i recommend it really.

This Truck Is great. My little brother drove it with no expereance and flipped it many times. It is very durable, only causing scratches on the harder crashes. You can adjust the shocks just using one finger, causing it not to flip anymore. the only thing i diddent like was the charger, it takes 6 hours to give you 30 min of run time, so buy the vision peak charger,(around 40$) witch charges the battery in 20-30 minutes. The truck That they sent me was a brushless version, also the “Rick Huseman” edition, thats blue with orange flames. The truck i got had a motor/reciever issue, but i just sent my parts (that were extreamly easy to take off) to Traxxas who fixed them. Overall this truck is great. I would recomend it to any unexperenced or expereanced rc driver.

where are the extra Parts

I think only bad thing about this toy.if you break something you can’t find or buy parts for it. i broke the front right sway bar and i went to 3 different hobby shops. and they don’t have extra parts for it. if somebody knows were.pleasr let me know at cbullion@cox.net i would be so greatly appreciated. because me and my son have fun with it

Super bowl champ of rc cars

I’m 43 and have 6 kids. Ages 8 and down. I’m a toy pro. I’m so sick of this crap we import that breaks once you play with it once. This toy was designed by engineering genius’s because I’ve never seen a toy last as long on one charge, fly over rocks, do wheelies, and made my kids scream. My 5 yr old was driving it however you need adult to watch cuz it will hurt if you get hit. It is a sophisticated toy made by pyscho toy freaks that I want to meet. Spend the extra 50 bucks and get the quick charge device that charges battery in 25 minutes. This is the iPhone of toys

Way Too Much Fun

I have been out of this rc stuff for sometime and this truck blew me away. Right out of the box it’s very fast. I’like just about everything about it. Handling,acceloration,and good looks.Only downfall is the charger takes too long, 5 to 8 hours for a full charge for 20 mins of fun,not good.So I purchased a Passport AC/DC LI-PO6s Charger and 2600 7.4 2s 15c Li-Polymer Battery Kit and WOW what a difference. Charge time is less than 45mins and duration must be 35 to40 mins of fun depending on how hard you push it. You just need to check on the engine heat.There is a big difference in power between the batteries,power wise. You should also get a wheelie bar. You WILL NEED IT beleave me it is awesome.It wheelies way too easly with either battery.It is water proof, but I have not tried it yet ( waiting for some snow ).Do not play around crowds of people or in the house,you will inflict some sort of damage.The speed is 35+ it says on the box, but with the new battery it might be more just unbeleaveable.I would recommend this truck and new battery kit to eveybody who is into or is just getting into rc trucks. the price for everything I purchased was $330.00.I didn’t want to spend that much, but it was well worth it. Too much fun to be legal

I got this truck after driving my friend’s, and have now gotten two of my other friends to get the same thing. Simply put, it’s a blast to drive and I enjoy working on it and upgrading it also. It comes out of the box ready to go, just charge your battery and clip on the body. Simple to get started and lots of aftermarket parts to keep getting more performance out of it means you won’t easily grow bored with it. I reccomend it to people new to the hobby, or people that have been away from it for a while and want to get back into it. Nice job, Traxxas!
